Blansko district - Part of the longest cave system in the Czech Republic. Between Pustý žleb ("Empty Chute") and the Macocha chasm runs a dried up riverbed with stalactites and stalagmites. Between the base of the chasm and Pustý žleb are a series of large, water-formed caverns (the Masaryk Cavern being the most beautiful), which can be traversed by boat along the underground Punkva river.
